Suggestion for Guardian Collection - GManTheMarioGuy2 - 08-24-2025 I'm sorry if this is not the right place for suggestions, but if so here's mine. 1. Maybe a noclip mode for server hosters, would work kinda like Garry's Mod where you would press whatever key noclip is binded to 2. Color Codes for Chat. Would work kinda like Quake with a "^" and a number for each color. For example ^1 would mean Red, etc. RE: Suggestion for Guardian Collection - Sarah - 08-24-2025 Right now we already have forum topics which are meant for add-ons (custom maps and Characters & Custom Assets), a standalone site would take up web resources like storage, bandwidth and moderation, making it more expensive to run. Maybe when the game releases and modding takes off, the idea can be brought back for a second look. Those ideas sound awesome! I’d love to see them tested out and added! Besides modding, Noclip in Sandbox and Color Codes For Chat may also be some neat features in a future update of Guardian Collection (as mentioned before) If Sean wants something more advanced, in the future he could possibly switch from MyBB to Xenforo on https://zeoworks.com XenForo is advanced, and doubles as a Forum and a Mod Site (can do both easily) XenForo does cost a bit of money, so this'll probably be a thing in the future but not right now. It's a perfect option for showcasing said mods and possibly short demos, but some files themselves would still need to be linked to the website since some mods could be too large for Discord, and not everyone can afford Nitro.(08-24-2025, 07:19 PM)Sarah Wrote:I looked into it, and I have a new idea.(08-24-2025, 07:18 PM)GManTheMarioGuy2 Wrote:Nice, Go for it!(08-24-2025, 07:03 PM)Sarah Wrote: Right now we already have forum topics which are meant for add-ons (custom maps and Characters & Custom Assets), a standalone site would take up web resources like storage, bandwidth and moderation, making it more expensive to run. MyBB, on the other hand, is free, simpler to manage, easier to moderate, lightweight, and more flexible to customize with plugins and themes. Extra features can always be added to mybb if needed. Other features you mentioned, like noclip in sandbox and color codes for chat, sound interesting and could be considered for a future update once the game is released! But at the moment, modding/mod sites likely wont be a focus to me until Sean adds official Modding support in Guardian Collection. If he doesn't, I might still make a mod site but the chances are less likely if it doesnt become official.
