I'd say it's still not dead, it's because of the community. Most games, especially the small one with a small community dies fast not from the gameplay or anything, it's from it's popularity. For some reason, instead of slendytubbies dying out just like the others it stays intact. People, communities create fangames that makes the game and community enjoyable for everyone
