Slendytubbies Guardian Collection won't start
#1
Hi, I'm somewhat new here, so I wanted to ask how to fix this error in Slendytubbies Guardian Collection, as it won't let me start the game.

The procedure entry point setThreadDescription could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Slendytubbies Guardian Collection\UnityPlayer.dll.

Anyone know how to solve this problem? please

try starting up the game straight from the folder (you can find the games folder in your C: drive) and you can boot it up from here, if the error still appears then idk.

Thanks for replying, but I already tried that and the error still appears, even if I try to open it from the folder.

Okay, it's worth a try. Thank you very much. The only theory I have is that perhaps, being an Alpha, it doesn't yet work with several devices.

My PC runs Windows 8.1, so I don't know if the fact that it's a somewhat old computer has anything to do with it.

it doesn't look like the devices problem, the error clearly points out that there's an error in a line. I don't know if it will "fix" the problem if the UnityPlayer.dll is replaced with the one that actually works.

I suppose it's worth a try since I wanted to run some tests to see how the game runs on my PC and whether I need to update it or if it will run well when the final version comes out.

download this and replace your current dll with this one, and see if anything new is gonna happen.
