Feel like all of the sudden theres been a SURGE in hackers on GC recently, and it feels like Sean and the rest of the ZeoWorks team have been struggling to ban them all, as im pretty sure after a account is banned, the hackers could just make new ones over and over again. In summary, the ZeoWorks team had to prepare for a fight they didn’t even know was coming, and if they’re even gonna be able to stop all the hackers.

   
I just wanna play games vro this game will actually end up like ST3 if the anti cheat actually costs like million dollars maybe I have bad internet connection or the rooms will come back up some day

During a public lobby, a player was able to spam the chat at an abnormal rate (approximately 100 messages per second) and duplicate characters/entities. This behavior disrupted gameplay and appears to be caused by an exploit.

Observed behavior:

Extreme chat spam far beyond normal limits

Multiple duplicated characters visible simultaneously

Repeated abusive messages in chat


Expected behavior:

Normal chat rate limits

No possibility to duplicate characters or entities
